Tanka
Poem of The Silent Art Auction
Silent
art auction
People
were overflowed with joy
Bidding
was hard core
Anxious
crowd walking around
Red carpet to finish off
Tanka
Poem of a Softball Game
At
a softball game
Crowds
roaring so crazily
Coaches
sweating at the tension
Batters
running fast
Fielders
sprinting for the catch

ReplyDeleteI like how your poems are very descriptive. Also I liked how you said in the first poem people were overflowed with joy because it paints a picture in my mind.
Thanks for the wonderful poem!
Kind regards

Hi Keira,
ReplyDeleteMy name is Malcolm. Thank you for sharing your information about tanka poems. I like the way you said there was MT Everest chills that went down your spine, I could imagine what that would feel like. Your work is very detailed like stabbing in the snow and the cold breeze blowing in your face.
Kind regards,
Malcolm

Kia orana Ms Rolton,
ReplyDeleteI want to comment on your beautiful post, poems are so lovely your one is really amazing. I think your one is really amazing, the sentence that says “ Fielders sprinting for the catch “ I had that, when I went to catch the ball I tripped and I fell. My cousin laughed and I said “ I will tell “ he said fine I won’t laugh. That was a lovely poem, I am interested in your poems.—
Kind regards
