Alcatraz
As you can see, we have a photo for the prompt this week. It is of a real prison cell taken at Alcatraz off the coast of San Francisco in the United States of America.
When people visit they really feel a shiver just thinking what it must have been like to be in there.
Things to consider:
- Why would you be put in this cell?
- How does it feel to be locked up?
- Is it possible to escape? Could you think of a plan?
- What is special about Alcatraz?

That is a cool post with that picture, I wish I could do a post like that RRoom 15. When I saw that photo I had the same question. Who would be in the cell like that because it looks scary in that photo. Oh that got me thinking about that photo, how did you get the photo from that prison?

ReplyDeleteHow does it feel to be locked up. I fell stink because you would not see your family in till you get out of the cell that will probably be 2 or 3 year?.
Is it possible to escape? Could you think of a plan. It depends what are you using to break out of the cell and where is the good place to get out the cell?.
It special because there were some people to escape the prison and they were not found . the other thing is that it is in the ocean on an island?.

Why would you be put in this cell? You would be put in the cell because of bad behaviour.
How does it feel to be locked up? It will be boring because it is a small room and it will be lonely.
Is it possible to escape? Could you think of a plan? Yes it is possible to escape pull the toilet out and go in then put it back on. Then go to the sueurs and then let the water take you out.
What is special about Alcatraz? That it is old and it is in the sea. And prison people were in there at one time along time ago.

ReplyDeleteHello i’m Havana. You have got some very nice questions I'm going to write my answers to them but first I would like to say you have a nice story about Alcatraz. Also I would have love to see the cell in real life like actually be there.
You might be put in the cell if you were very bad.
If I was lock up in there I think it would be scary and creepy because it's all dirty and you might have a mean cell mate. What if you had to go toilet someone might watch you.
I don't think you would be able to escape because the bars are meddle and I think the walls are stone like the ground.
I dont realy no what is special about Alcatraz.

ReplyDeleteIt looks very scary in the cell because you have to do a number 1 and a number 2 in public. Alcatraz is a really small place.
I think at night I’ll run away without looking at anything. I think I can answer some of the questions.
Answer
People go to jail because they probably did a bad thing.
It probably feels scary being locked in there.
I don’t think you can escape unless you try.
I think Alcatraz is important because it's one of those popular places.
I have a question for you:

I think it would be hard to escape because it is an island that was surrounded by sharks in the San Fran harbor.

1.I was put in the cell for a crime that i did not commit
ReplyDelete2.Being locked up is freezing especially at night and its not private, also my bed is really uncomfortable
3.To escape it would be a long process but I would use supply's in the cell to open the cell do then hide in a boat while the guards took people to a from the prison.
4.Alcatraz is special because it is in the middle of San Fran harbor and is really hard to escape from.
